More than 75 per cent of mental health issues develop before a person turns . headspace began in 2006 to address this critical gap, by providing tailored and holistic mental health support to 12 to 25 year olds. With a focus on early intervention, young people are provided with support at a crucial time in their lives – to help get them back on track and strengthen their ability to manage their mental health in the future.
At the Bondi Junction Centre early intervention services are provided to young people including mental, physical and sexual health, drug and alcohol information and support as well as vocational and educational assistance along with care coordination by our youth access team. It is a place where a range of services can be provided to young people in one youth friendly location.
