Maroubra Fun Run and Oktoberfest

A fixture in the local calendar, the Maroubra Fun Run and Oktoberfest is an excellent example of Rotarians assisting their local community. For many years we've provided logistics support and club members to register runners, cut mountains of oranges, act as event M.C., hand out finishers certificates and generally assist the organisers in the execution of the event.

 

Our job is completed relatively early in the day so we're free to enter the event, socialise or head off elsewhere. Many members volunteer each year as it's fun, it's beachside and it's easy to do your bit!
